Easter events in Lincolnshire

It’s one of those holidays that always seems to arrive more quickly than you expect, but Easter will soon be upon us, bringing with it the chance to enjoy an extended Bank Holiday and some quality time off.

If you’re looking for events and things to do in Louth or across Lincolnshire over the break, here are some ideas:

• Lincolnshire Vintage Vehicle Society, based at the Lincolnshire Road Transport Museum, North Hykeham, has one of its regular Open Days from 10am - 5pm on Easter Sunday, April 5th. As well as the chance to see some cars that are not normally displayed, visitors can visit “hidden” areas of the museum, including the workshop. Refreshment and other stalls, and visiting vehicles, add to the fun. Some vehicles offer rides, and there's a city tour round Lincoln. Click here for more details.

• Fancy something a little more relaxed? From Saturday to Monday of Easter Weekend, there’s lots going on at The Village Church Farm, Skegness, and a family ticket is just £5. Activities include children’s fun, face painting, an Easter Egg hunt, storytelling and a Victorian living history event. Hunt for eggs between 11am and 4pm, and storytelling is at 1.30pm. • The Arthur Swallow Home and Antiques Fair is at Lincolnshire Showground, just north of central Lincoln. This event is held all day on Easter Monday and Tuesday April 7th, when tickets cost just £5. Over the last 20 years, this show has grown increasingly popular and become one of Europe’s biggest global antiques and home events. It features thousands of exhibitors and stands from across Europe. Imagine a giant flea market, vintage store and off-the-beaten-track furniture retailer all rolled into one, where you can browse to your heart’s content! Click here for more details.

As ever, we offer many used prestige cars with attractive deals on finance. Use the holiday to see what we have to offer!
