One of our Thompson & Smith team, working to deliver prestige used cars for sale here at our showroom at Louth in Lincolnshire, was asked this question by a friend recently. To be honest, there is really no single definition, and to an extent it does come down to personal taste. We do think there is a certain style to the quality used cars we offer here, and marques such has Aston Martin, Audi, BMW and Land Rover, and iconic names like Mini, do tend to speak for themselves.
Perhaps it’s also how a vehicle is presented, like those folk who always appear elegant and unflustered in any situation. Here at Thompson & Smith, we’ll admit we are almost obsessive in the way we make sure each vehicle is immaculately prepared before you even have the chance to glance at it.
Then, there are also the extra touches in the spec and look of many vehicles, each adding to the style and – well – prestige. Take just four of the stunning cars we have available as we write this blog:
• A superb Aston Martin Vantage proudly displaying the amazing black leather and red stitching combination on the dash, doors and seats
• The 5-door Mini Countryman and its piano black interior trim (well looked after by its only owner) and also featuring rear parking sensors
• The stunning velocity red metallic paint and bespoke leather interior presentation of a rare 2005 Mazda MX-5 Launch Edition – number 277 out of just 300 produced
• A low mileage BMW 320D X Drive Sport Touring model registered in 2013 – and those black Dakota leather heated sports seats (and still with a BMW maintenance pack through into 2018)
There’s almost a saying that “prestige is in the eye of the beholder” – so it’s surely best to take this chance to browse our online car dealer showroom and see what adds that little bit extra to your assessment of our careful choices. Please also feel free to let us know your ideas of what constitutes “prestige”.
